In 2020, Dutch private equity parties raised € 5.2 billion in new capital from (institutional) investors and in the same year private equity parties invested € 6.7 billion in 179 Dutch companies. In 2019, another € 6.3 billion was invested in Dutch companies. Private investment by funds in Dutch companies have proved to continue to grow despite various crises.
VIOTTA’s lawyers provide advice to national and international private equity parties as well as to companies in which private equity parties have, or are acquiring, an interest. We assist private equity transactions from the first meeting of the parties to closing. International investment companies like to work with us when they acquire an interest in a Dutch company. And for Dutch entrepreneurs, it is nice to receive advice from lawyers who have experience with international private equity investors. Both parties know how to find their way to VIOTTA. For cross-border transactions, we work closely together with other law firms from our international network.
